After watching this trailer I think that the method the teacher used to get kids to write was very sufficient. I believe this because writing is a way to relieve stress and let things out that you may not have the courage to say to someone in person. This activity would be good for kids in any day because like the lady said in the movie, “everybody has a story” and everyone should have a chance to share it. I prefer to watch movies like this because the bring me a lot of excitement and keep me at the edge of my seat. Movies can get pretty boring sometimes but when they have scenes with violence and gangs then that’s exciting.

If I had to choose I would rather be very smart. This is because how far will looks really get you in life? With intelligence you can accomplish pretty much anything. Even if you have nothing, when you’re smart you can start from scratch and figure out a solution. Choosing good looks would be a dumb decision because why would anyone willingly want to not know anything. I think that one of life’s greatest gifts is intelligence so to give it up for looks is outrageous.

If I could meet anyone in the world I would I would hang out with Lil Baby. I would choose him because I love his music and him. If we were together I would want to blast his music and chill together. I would also want to go shopping because I KNOW he’s loaded. I would ask him to give me a tour of his house and his jewelry collection. He and I would definitely remain friends because he has a type of vibe that I really like and I think he would he would like me too.

My role model is my sister, Alvelis. She is my role model because she’s super smart and is always on top of what she needs to do. My sister manages to keep a job, do sports, and deal with my crazy family after coming home from all of that. She also sets a good example on me because she gets good grades and is very organized. I think that I am my little sisters’ role model because whenever she’s around me, I started to realize how much she acts like me and my other sister. I’m proud to be a role model because I like being a good example to others and that means I’m doing something correct.

The butterfly affect is something I think about almost every day. I like to think about how my decisions and my existence affects the lives of people around me. One major decision that I had made last year changed my life drastically. This decision caused many problems throughout the following few months. One way it changed my life was that it forced me to have to go to another school and meet completely new people. It’s kind of crazy how the act of opening a door caused so much chaos. On the other hand, I’m also kind of glad that it happened because if not then I wouldn’t have met my friends and and created the bonds that we all have. I also think I would be a different person with a completely different mindset.

Dear Miss P. ,

There are many things you don’t know about me that I think you would be interested in hearing. First, I am intelligent but I’m also very lazy and make bad decisions sometimes. Those are bad mixes but they’ve made my life kind of interesting. Second, I am bisexual and I’ve been out for about 4 years. Third, I grew up in Baldwin with one of my sisters, my mom, and grandparents. My parents were never actually together during my lifespan. Fourth, I have a very dysfunctional family, which unfortunately means I am too, lol. These are among the many things I wish you knew about me.

I would very much rather have respect from a person because respect can some day turn into love. There are many situations where you can love a person and have barely any respect for them. The thing about love is that it’s so easy to say but how often does it really come around. I know that sounds sort of contradicting, because people tend to want what they cant have most of the time. With that being said you can’t really tell whether love is genuine sometimes, it might seem real but our judgement gets fogged when love is involved. I also feel like respect is not as temporary as love either. Once you receive respect from a person its hard to lose that.

I think being straight is typically the the default because many people still haven’t learned to accept the fact that love is love no matter what gender you are. Everyone is brainwashed from young ages to believe that girls are supposed to like boys, and vise versa, but most aren’t encouraged to explore their sexuality or to come out if they are homosexual. Cyber bullying is very relevant, especially in this day and age. It’s also become way worse because almost everyone, including kids, have cell phones or some sort of electronic device. This gives people the advantage to be bold and say things they wouldn’t actually say in person. My opinion is that this has caused way more conflicts because it also allows people to dispute although they’re not even in the same vicinity.

This assignment was kind of unrealistic for a 6th grade class. I think that at this age kids are to young to really care about things like that. I know that if i was in this class i would most definitely not have done this assignment. I don’t think that kids in Freeport schools in these day would do it either. I believe this because most kids in Freeport barely even care about school so why would they do an extra credit project about changing the world. “Changing the World” is also an unrealistic task to ask of someone.

I feel like this trailer is more fictional only because most girls their age aren’t out there doing the things the girls in the movie were doing. But I do think the movie is kind of realistic just because most teenage girls start to develop a rivalry with their mom throughout these adolescent years. Students might also be interested in this movie for its drama and intensity. If i were this girls mom i would sit down with her and talk to her about being more comfortable and confident in her skin and who she is.
